Painting

John Keily (above, right), one of the owner/managers of Cedar Lodge Cabins, is also an artist. After working on landscapes for some years, he has now branched out into portraiture. Here is our friend, Mark, with the portrait he commissioned from John.

If you are interested in commissioning a portrait, please contact us.

  1. Very happy with painting, the picture doesn’t do it justice. This is the third painting that John has done for my wife and myself, and I would recomend anyone to let John capture yourself or a family member on canvas as he has a rare gift and encourages your thoughts and ideas however unusual they might seem to others, as my ghost pumps did to other people I told about at the time. Not John though,he seemed to capture my ideas straight away and the result speaks for itself. Thanks John,

  2. Hello John and Carol. The painting has turned out amazing. You have captured a remarkable image. Who is the guy standing on the left ? He looks familiar. He looks just like the guy in the painting ! Is he the wimp character from that Wild Hogs movie ? Or was he the one that used to have long hair from Easy Rider. Peter Fonda perhaps.

You now have permission to put our painting on your blog page but we will decline standing next to it naked.
Visitors will be able to see how truly a remarkable artist that you are………and a nice bloke to boot.

    Miss ya heaps.

Are you interested in a commission for my new office ?
